Frequently asked questions
What is Visitor Context?
Visitor Context identifies anonymous visitors to your website and adds Faraday's consumer context to each one: who they are, whether they're a good fit, and how likely they are to buy.
How are visitors identified?
Faraday works with a third-party identity partner that tries to match every visitor to a known person through a consented identity network. Visitors who can't be matched stay anonymous and are never delivered.
How many of my visitors will be identified?
It depends on your site and traffic. Browsers and ad blockers limit how many visitors can be recognized.
What does my team need to do?
Add one tag through your tag manager, put it behind the right consent category, and allowlist the pixel domains if your site uses a Content Security Policy. Faraday tests it with you in staging before it goes live.
Is it real time?
Not yet. Currently new visitors appear in Faraday in hourly batches. Real-time notification of visitors, along with their context, is coming soon—let us know if you want to join the beta.
Does it work in mobile apps?
Not yet. Visitor Context works on websites only.
